Hong Kong locals are proud of their traditional desserts that unfortunately are usually too foreign and odd for many European tourists. Hong Kong also offers many unusual gourmet delicacies that are made from snake, shark or horse meat, chicken legs, pig ears, duck heads, and other similar ingredients.

If you wish to feel the true spirit of Hong Kong, head over to admire the night view of skyscrapers, considered to be the most beautiful in the whole world. Victoria Peak mountain and its observation deck are perfect for that. After doing this, you should also pay a visit to the Hakka village, the Fu Shin street market, and various temples. We also recommend taking a walk to observe traditional Chinese wooden homes on support pillars and going to see the Po Lin monastery with the second largest Buddha statue inside.
