A wondrous city in the blooming land – Miami

Miami is the pride of Florida and the whole of America. Nowhere else will you find so many perfect beaches, beautiful people, and luxury as you will find in here. And “here” is all about having fun, especially when the sun is always shining and nature is blooming. Everything you need, in order to find yourself in this fairytale, are plane tickets and a hotel reservation.

How to travel?

Planes land in two airports in Miami, however, cheap flights will only end at the International Airport. This airport feels similar to a small town, but you can easily leave this area and use public transportation to reach the city centre. We recommend the free express airport–train station, or you can always use paid buses and minibuses.

In order to visit some sightseeing objects in Miami, it would be probably most convenient to rent a car. Or you can choose the public transportation system made up from metros and buses. The ecological option would be renting a bike.

What to taste?

Miami is the ideal place to get acquainted with the cuisine of the blooming land, or Florida, as Spaniards have called it. This city will offer some great food from the Caribbean, as well as many Indian, Vietnamese, Cuban, and Mexican dishes. Miami restaurants may also offer, exclusively, to try something from the Floribbean cuisine.

This gorgeous resort has some original delicious beef in tomato sauce, and you simply must have a Pina Colada, the symbol of holidays. Stay open for anything that’s new, and you will be able to make some great food discoveries that will make you want to come back to Miami again.

What to see?

One source of Miami’s undoubted charm is the fabulous Art Deco district, with its exquisite architecture, bright-coloured buildings, and neon signs. You will further be impressed, if you go take a walk along the Ocean Drive: this lengthy street is brimming with restaurants, clubs, and shops. You can find your heart’s wish either in here, or at the Bayside Marketplace

Are you missing some culture? Head over to the Bayfront Park where you will be able to admire the Pepper fountain, the flaming Torch of Friendship, the WWII Memorial, and the Challenger memorial that commemorates the tragedy of Space Shuttle Challenger. The beauty of art will unfold in the Vizcaya Museum, and in the Sculpture Gardens that are decorated with many fountains, furniture, and sculptures that date as far as the 15th century.

What to do?

Miami got its resort title for its many amazing beaches. We recommend indulging in some sunbathing at the famous South Beach, and trying out the services of the popular water taxi. Zoo Miami beckons with its delightful nature and wonderful animals free of cages, and you should also pay a visit to the Jungle Island, and the Miami Seaquarium. This way you will see that love for life is inherent to everyone in Miami, the animals included. It is definitely worth to become one of the five millions of people that visit Miami every year.
