India is easy to reach by taking a connecting flight with a single plane change. In order to reach city centre from any Mumbai airport, you will need to use local transport system, usually consisting of buses, metro, or rickshaws. After doing this, you should not seek Western looking skyscrapers but instead head over to see the largest slum in Asia, Dharavi, and its entire crowds full of homeless people, the children beggars, and the afflicted. In the same slum, you will also find the largest open air laundry, where thousands of locals are busy every day. What you will see here will stay with you for a long time, and after you feel what the true taste of India is, you will want to come back again and again.

Mumbai is often called the Indian Hollywood, or Bollywood. Every Mumbai visitor must visit the local cinema theatre and experience the reason behind such title. Local films are over-packed with action and unreal special effects but are still appreciated and loved by Indians. Be aware that the national Indian anthem is played before every such film showing and be prepared to respectfully join everyone in the cinema getting to their feet.
